Summary. Twenty-two children whose mothers took the oral coumarin anticoagulant warfarin during pregnancy were seen, to assess their physical and mental development; a comparison was made with matched controls. No significant difference was observed between the study group and controls, nor within the study group according to the period of gestation when their mothers took warfarin.
