Aging Cell welcomes Brian Kennedy to the senior editorial team
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Brian Kennedy, PhD, to the team of Editors-in-Chiefs of Aging Cell. He assumed his duties at the beginning of the 2011 calendar year, replacing Rich Miller.
Brian is well known for his work on nutrient signaling linked to dietary restriction, with particular emphasis on sirtuin and TOR pathways. His laboratory has also contributed to our understanding of A-type nuclear lamins and their role in the Hutchinson–Gilford progeria syndrome. He brings to his post at Aging Cell a wealth of knowledge in multiple model systems, including yeast, the nematode, and mouse.
On behalf of the entire editorial staff as well as our readership, we would like to enthusiastically welcome Brian. We look forward to working with him for the benefit of the entire aging research community.
