Table S1. A list of genes profiled in PBMCs of the patients with chronic hepatitis C infection using Real-Time PCR. Genes participating in the predictive models described in the manuscript are accompanied by fold changes. Please note that in the case of the models differentiating two or more disease states respective fold differences represent incremental steps gained along with the progression of the disease. For example, in case of the model Differentiating Steatosis and NASH in subjects infected with HCV of Non-3 Genotypes the expression of the gene CFLAR is increased 1.20 folds if steatosis is present and is further increased 1.13 folds if NASH is present, where increase in NASH stage is quantified as mean (CFLAR) in normal and steatotic patients vs. mean (CFLAR) in NASH patients.
