Abstract

Abstract:  Henoch–Schönlein purpura is an acute leukocytoclastic vasculitis that primarily affects children. Henoch–Schönlein purpura is often associated with an infection, and a wide variety of infectious agents have been implicated in the pathogenesis. We report a child with Henoch–Schönlein purpura associated with Helicobacter pylori infection. Treatment of the Helicobacter pylori infection was accompanied by prompt resolution of the Henoch–Schönlein purpura.
