Supporting Information

Additional Supporting Information may be found in the online version of this article:

Appendix S1. Species list and average frequency of occurrence (% ± SD) for each sample treatment.

Appendix S2. Smallest subset of native species contributing to at least 60% of dissimilarity between treatments representing: (1) Kurri Sands Swamp Woodland; and (2) Lower Hunter Spotted Gum Ironbark Forest. Treatments are pre-clearing; direct (direct soil reinstatement and stockpiles samples combined); and delay (reinstatement delayed for 8, 10, or 13 months). Data are derived from Similarity Percentage (SIMPER) Analysis (Clarke 1993).

Appendix S3. Mean frequency and 95% credible interval estimated for individual species for each treatment. Symbols indicate treatments for which the credible interval is, respectively, higher or lower than the corresponding interval estimated for pre-clearing (▴ or ▾) and burnt ([UPWARDS ARROW] or [DOWNWARDS ARROW]) treatment plots. Vegetation communities: LHSI, Lower Hunter Spotted Gum Ironbark Forest; KSSW, Kurri Sand Swamp Woodland; DIC, Deviance Information Criterion.
