Regional Transportation Planning and Metropolitan Governance
Thomas W. Sanchez is an associate professor of urban affairs and planning and a research fellow in the Metropolitan Institute at Virginia Tech’s Alexandria Center. He holds a doctorate in city planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research emphasizes transportation, land use, residential location behavior, and social equity in planning.
James Wolf is a professor in the Center for Public Administration and Policy/School of Public and International Affairs at Virginia Tech’s Alexandria Center. His research focuses on the role that metropolitan planning organizations play in regional transportation planning and regional governance.
