Daniel W. Williams is an associate professor at Baruch College, City University of New York, where he teaches ethics, budgeting, and other topics. His chief areas of research are in the intellectual history of public administration and in forecasting. He is the coauthor of a forthcoming book, Budget Tools, by CQ Press. Before his academic appointments, Professor Williams had various roles with the Virginia Medicaid Program, ending as the budget director for the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services
