Public Administration at the Founding


Richard T. Green is a professor of political science and director of the master of public administration program at the University of Utah. His research interests center on public administration history and theory. He has published articles and book chapters on the nexus between constitutionalism, law, and administration; the emergence of professionalism in public administration; and the evolution of publicpersonnel policy and practice. Most recently, he coauthored the book Foundations of Public Service (M. E. Sharpe, 2008).
