The Psychology of Performance Management: Think Locally, Act Locally


Katherine G. Willoughby is a professor of public administration in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. Her areas of research interest include public management, budgeting, and finance; she has conducted extensive studies on performance-based budgeting law and reform in state and local governments in the United States. In addition to her research, she teaches graduate courses in strategic management and public budgeting and finance, and conducts training in financial management and performance budgeting for government budgeters, finance officers, and managers from around the world.
