Lin Ye is an assistant professor of public administration in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Roosevelt University in Chicago. His research focuses on public administration, urban development, and comparative governance issues in China and the United States. He has had articles published in the American Review of Public Administration, Journal of Urban Affairs, Journal of Planning Literature, Journal of Public Affairs Education, and Chinese Public Administration Review.

Abstract

A comparative analysis of regional governance policies in China and the United States is presented from multiple perspectives, including jurisdictional structure, intergovernmental relationship, and performance outcomes. Policy reviews and case studies contrast how regional approaches may assist governments to learn seminal lessons from multinational experiences.
