Hua Xu is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Auburn University in Montgomery, Alabama, where he teaches public budgeting and financial management, government organizations and administration, health care administration leadership, and area studies. His current research interests include public finance and budgeting, quantitative research methodologies, e-government, public performance management, and comparative public administration. His scholarly work has appeared in Public Administration Review, State Tax Notes, Journal of Public Affairs Education, and the Handbook of Research Methods in Public Administration.
