Public Administration Research and the Field's Identity


Sonia M. Ospina is professor of public management and policy and faculty director of the Research Center for Leadership in Action at New York University's Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, where she teaches courses in qualitative research methods, leadership, and nonprofit management. Her current interests include leadership, democratic governance, and public management reform spanning both the United States and Latin America. She recently finished a national multiyear qualitative research project on social change leadership in the United States. She is the coeditor, with Mary Uhl-Bien, of the forthcoming book Relational Leadership Theory: Advancing a Dialogue among Perspectives.
