Eric P. Schwartz is dean of the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. Previously, he served as U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration and has worked at the National Security Council, the United Nations, the U.S. Congress, and Human Rights Watch. He holds a juris doctorate from New York University School of Law and a master of public affairs degree from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School.
