Policy-Supported Social Capital in Postdisaster Recovery: Some Positive Evidence
Kanako Iuchi has specialized in urban and disaster-related planning in international settings since 1994 and currently works in the Finance, Economics, and Urban Development Department of the World Bank. She has been involved in academic and governmental sector projects in Indonesia, Japan, New Orleans, and Pakistan after disasters. Her research interests include resettlement after disasters and recovery in shrinking or stagnating economies.
