Krishna K. Tummala is professor of public administration at Kansas State University, Manhattan. He has published articles and books on comparative public administration, public administration in India, personnel management, and budgeting. In 2011, he received the Paul H. Appleby Award from the Indian Institute of Public Administration for distinguished service to the field. He previously served on the PAR editorial board, on the governing bodies of the American Society for Public Administration and the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration, and as president of Pi Alpha Alpha.
