America's Health Policy Trap


Harold Pollack is Helen Ross Professor of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago and director of the University of Chicago Crime Lab. His research at the boundaries between public health and poverty policy has appeared in such publications as the Journal of the American Medical Association, Addiction, Health Economics, and Health Services Research. Most recently, he was awarded the Robert Wood Johnson Investigator Award in health policy research. His journalism has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and other leading publications.
