Page 8: A typesetting error was made in the initial portion of the first paragraph of “Modern Nutrition in the Practice of Midwifery”. The first paragraph of Ms. Page's article should read as follows:
The Certified Nurse-Midwife is responsible for the total management of the normal pregnant woman. This includes the gestational and postpartum periods of the mother and the perinatal period of her infant. Rendering this comprehensive care successfully means maintaining the health of the mother during pregnancy and preparing her for the stress of the delivery. The certified nurse-midwife must pull out all the stops to help to make possible the development of a healthy infant of normal size and weight and physical and mental development.
