Figure S1: Protein expression (a--g) of (A) CD44 and (B) fibronectin and was verified in the placebo (b--d) and 13cRA treated animals (e--g) using immunohistochemistry. Both proteins were downregulated by 13cRA treatment with less CD44 labeled mononuclear cells seen on day 56 after transplantation, and less fibronectin positive extracellular matrix seen in the 13cRA treated transplants.
