In Daniel Givelber and Amy Farrell's “Judges and Juries: The Defense Case and Differences in Acquittal Rates,”Law & Social Inquiry 33:1 (Winter 2008, 31–52), a typesetting error resulted in the inadvertent omission of a value from Table 5, on page 46. In that segment of the table labeled “Model 4: Full Model,” the column headed “Jury acquit” should have an r-sq value that reads (r-sq. = .22).
In Jeanne M. Powers and Lirio Patton's “Between Mendez and Brown: Gonzales v. Sheely (1951) and the Legal Campaign Against Segregation,”Law & Social Inquiry 33:1 (Winter 2008, 127–71), an editing error resulted in two misspellings of the case under examination, Gonzales v. Sheely, as Gonzales v. Sheeley. The misspellings occur on pages 127 (abstract, line 2) and 128 (second paragraph, line 1). The same misspelling also appears in the editor's introduction, “In This Issue,”Law & Social Inquiry 33:1 (Winter 2008, 1–4), on page 3 (line 6).
