  • There has been some opposition to the use of the word “Taurindicus” but linguists inform us that there is a sensible tendency to adopt explicit and convenient words — such as the widely used “Braford” for “Brahman X Hereford” and “Simbrah” for “Simmental X Brahman”, to describe the foregoing crossbred cattle or derived Taurindicus breeds.
