Fig. S2. Response of phytoplankton to the active-material: 80 μl of active-material were added into 320 μl of culture in the first microcentrifuge tube (‘20% treatment’) from which a twofold dilution was made. Duplicates of 100 μl from each microcentrifuge tube were then transferred into the flat-bottomed 96-well plate.
