vcp462-sup-0001-TableS1-S2.pdfapplication/PDF66KTable S1. Intra- and inter-assay imprecision recorded for cellulose acetate electrophoresis (CAE), agarose gel electrophoresis (AGE), and capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) of pooled serum samples from dogs (modified[10]). Table S2. Reproducibility of electrophoretic results obtained by cellulose acetate electrophoresis (CAE), agarose gel electrophoresis (AGE), and capillary electrophoresis (CZE) using plasma defibrinated with ethanol. Coefficients of variation (CV) were obtained as follows: 3 serum samples were pooled and divided into 8 aliquots of 450 μL each. Each aliquot was defibrinated as described in the text and supernatants were analyzed by each of the electrophoretic methods in the same electrophoretic run. For each electrophoretic fraction, mean values and SDs of the sequential readings were used to calculate CVs using the formula: CV = mean/SD × 100.
