JOHN F. BOCKMAN (M.A., Univ. of Arizona, M.A.T., Indiana Univ.) is Coordinator of Foreign Language Instruction, Tucson (Arizona) Public Schools. He has taught Latin, Russian, and German on the high school level and taught methodology at the Univ. of Illinois EPDA Russian Teachers' Institute, 1969. He has attended NDEA Institutes in the United States and the Soviet Union, and was a participant at the NDEA Foreign Language Leadership Institute at Central Washington State College. He has published many articles in the Arizona Foreign Language Teachers' Forum and will serve as Consultant to the Editorial Board for Vol. 3 of the Britannica Review of Foreign Language Education. His professional affiliations include thte NEA, AATG, and ACTFL
