ABSTRACT The following article describes the planning, script writing, and producing of a radio broadcast in the foreign language. The script and broadcast were completed by intermediate and advanced Spanish students at the senior high school level. Increased student, parental, and administrative awareness of Spanish were immediate by-products of the broadcast. Multi-school involvement at various student levels of Spanish occurred. Spanish enrollment increased the next year. Students were able to utilize Spanish in a practical and enjoyable manner. Possible alternatives for use of a broadcast for schools without radio stations are mentioned in the article.
