AS DESIGN MANAGEMENT matures from the anecdotal world of legendary design leaders to a profession representing a significant business resource, it is essential to distill an understanding of the content, methodologies, and fit of the discipline. Kyung Won Chung offers several clear definitions of the profession and identifies three levels at which it contributes to the success of the enterprise.
