      Bettina Bergo is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Duquesne University. She published a monograph on Levinas, entitled Levinas Between Ethics and Politics (Kluwer 1999 and Duquesne University Press 2003). She has translated three books by Levinas and other works on Jewish and contemporary philosophy. Author of articles on phenomenology and French thought, Bergo is working on a history of anxiety in psychoanalysis and philosophy of the 19th century.
