Doris Hausser is a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration who retired in 2007 after 30 years of federal career service, most recently as senior policy advisor to the director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM). She played a key advisory and execution role in planning, coordinating, developing, and implementing OPM policy and program matters across the full range of human resource management systems and served as the OPM's first chief human capital officer.
