Carbon nanotubes grown on a silicon wafer modify the current flow in a micro-discharge created in heptane with a pin-to-plate configuration. The interaction of the plasma with the surface is affected by the presence of the nanotubes which behave as electrical conductors that focalize the current on a smaller area.
