Carbon-bonded alumina with Carbores® P as binding agent is investigated experimentally with respect to microstructure and thermophysical properties. The values of coefficient of thermal expansion, thermal diffusivity, specific heat, and thermal conductivity are presented depending on mass fractions of Carbores® P and manufacturing route. In the temperature range up to 800 °C, the thermal expansion and thermal conductivity are decreased by an increasing Carbores® P content, while the specific heat is not affected.
