3D printed constructs with varied architecture are patterned by 3D fiber deposition using a biodegradable, photopolymerizable, and thermosensitive triblock copolymer hydrogel based on PEG and poly(N-(2-hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide lactate). This biomaterial shows excellent processability and viability for embedded chondrocytes. The porous constructs can maintain separate localization of encapsulated microspheres, making this hydrogel an interesting candidate for bioprinting of hierarchically organized scaffolds.
