Complementary absorbing small molecules are combined in a vacuum deposited organic tandem solar cell to efficiently harvest the sun light over the whole visible range. The devices show advantageous behavior under different illumination intensities and angles, as well as typical operating temperatures. Further device optimization leads to an independently certified efficiency of 6.07% on nearly 2 cm2.
