Electrodeposition is used to grow 3D mesoscopic ferromagnet–superconductor hybrid core–shell structures. Micromagnetic measurements reveal complex magnetic behavior, including re-entrant superconductivity and field-induced switching of the sign of magnetization from para(ferro-)magnetic to diamagnetic. Micromagnetic simulations performed to yield insights into the properties of our structures are in good agreement with the experimental results.
