The impact of light-induced degradation on the exciton and charge separation dynamics in the active layer of poly(3- hexylthiophene)/[6,6]-phenyl C61-butyric acid methyl ester (P3HT/PCBM) organic solar cells is studied using optical pump-probe spectroscopy. The losses in excitons and polarons are quantified and compared to the degradation of solar cell performances in which the active layer has been selectively aged.
