The degree of optical diffusion can be tuned using deformable wrinkles with a periodicity in the range of hundreds of micrometers. Without strain, the surface is unwrinkled and shows no optical diffusion. With uniaxial strain, the induced surface wrinkles anisotropically diffuse the incident light as determined by applied strain in both the transmission and reflection modes.
