Two-dimensional arrays of photoluminescent light sources with characteristic sizes and periods ranging from a few micrometers to tens of micrometers are obtained by selective F8BT integration into 3D silicon microstructures featuring 2D arrays of holes with different sizes, periods, and aspect ratios. Such a synergic integration of luminescent polymers and silicon microstructures paves the way for new photonics applications.
