Chiral nanostructures are innovative tools to control light–matter interactions at the nanoscale, allowing the exploration and exploitation of exotic optical phenomena such as wavelength-dependent circular dichroism. An FIBID process, with vertically discretized 3D nano-objects, allows control over the geometry with nanometer accuracy. The nanostructures exhibit a high light circular polarization sensitivity, opening the way to potential chiral photonics applications.
