The structural evolution of a sequentially solution-deposited organic solar cell constructed from crosslinked poly(3-n-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) (P3HT) and [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) was investigated. Thermal annealing drives PCBM diffusion and redistribution in the crosslinked P3HT phase. As a result, device performances are comparable to the non-crosslinked devices.
