Zwitterionic supramolecular hydrogels exhibiting multistimuli-responsive properties, dual-pH and light response, with sufficient stiffness were developed. This stiff and multistimuli-responsive hydrogel is very useful as a unique molding template to fabricate various substrates including a collagen gel into 2D/3D microarchitectures for spatially patterning, culturing, and differentiation of live cells (see scheme).
