Better batteries! Pristine and Co-doped LiMnPO4 cathode materials have been synthesized by the sol-gel method using glycine as a chelating agent. The corresponding carbon composites are prepared by the wet ball mill method. Carbon particles appear as a coating layer over the active materials (see picture).
