Cubane Libre: The structures of FeII and NiII cubanes were tuned by changing the steric size of peripheral ligands. The resulting asymmetric and symmetric metallocubanes possess different magnetic properties, as assessed by detailed electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) measurements.
