Stop! Nano-time! A palladium complex grafted onto nanosized mobile crystalline material 41 (MCM-41) was utilized to catalyze the Negishi coupling of aryl bromides or acyl chlorides with organozinc chlorides. This heterogeneous catalyst could be recovered and reused several times, which makes this Negishi coupling a more “green” process.
