Zeaere′s something fischeri going on: Two (R)-amine transaminases (ATA) from Gibberella zeae and Neosartorya fischeri are immobilized efficiently on a chitosan support. In addition to an improved thermostability, the immobilized lactate and glucose dehydrogenases (LDH and GDH) showed significantly higher reaction rates and conversions than the free enzymes in the asymmetric synthesis of (R)-2-aminohexane.
