Martin Ulbricht, Dr. Jürgen Schneider, Maria Stasiak and Ph.D. Amit Sengupta Ammonia Recovery from Industrial Wastewater by TransMembraneChemiSorption Chemie Ingenieur Technik 85
By means of the TransMembraneChemiSorption (TMCS) process a volatile component, such as free ammonia gas, can be removed from water by direct chemisorption into a liquid receiving phase. A hydrophobic membrane enables the liquid-gas-liquid contact without mixing of fluids. The results of the first industrial system are discussed.
