Vesicles formed by self-assembled supramolecular amphiphilic molecules were obtained by direct self-assembly of cucurbit[7]uril-based host-guest superamphiphiles. The disassembly of vesicles can be realized by the addition of excess 1-adamantanamine hydrochloride. The vesicles act as ideal nanocapsule to encapsulate guest molecules within their hollow cavities and through guest competitive disassembly the vesicles can be used as a novel drug delivery carrier.
