In the current study, the authors investigated whether the antiangiogenic activity of human endostatin could be improved by NGR motif-mediated targeting. NGR-endostatin showed increased binding of endostatin to endothelial cells, leading to improved antiangiogenic and tumor-inhibitory properties of endostatin.
