The authors assessed the value of antiviral lamivudine in reducing the incidence and severity of hepatitis in hepatitis B virus (HBV) carriers with lymphoma who were receiving chemotherapy. The results showed that lamivudine prophylaxis significantly reduced the incidence and severity of hepatitis in HBV carriers who received chemotherapy for lymphoma, and the chemotherapy disruption rate also decreased significantly.
