Intrapancreatic accessory spleen (IPAS) is a rare benign lesion of the pancreas that frequently mimics a solid neoplasm. If IPAS is recognized as a diagnostic consideration on endoscopic ultrasound fine-needle aspiration, unnecessary surgical resection may be avoided.
