On the wire: Highly crystalline, superlong [Cu(SCH3)] nanowires, obtained from the hydrothermal reaction of Cu(NO3)2⋅3 H2O, DMSO, and water, display a high hole mobility of 2 cm2 V−1 S−1 (see figure), which demonstrates their promising future in electronic-device applications.
