Mesoporous SnO2 spheres were fabricated by combining a solvothermal procedure with a calcination process. The measured surface area was 78.2 m2 g–1 and the average pore size approximately 10 nm. The mesoporous SnO2 spheres show superior gas sensing performance for H2 and CO.
