The RhIII3RhI sulfido cluster with dithioimidodiphosphinate ligands undergoes facile reductive elimination of methyl iodide in the absence of an added ligand, thus demonstrating the importance of the cooperative effect of neighboring metals and sulfur ligands in the oxidative addition/reductive elimination of metal complexes.
